humming birds

so my honey challenged me to try and capture a humming bird in mid flight.  so i positioned my camera on a tripod right next to the feeder with my macro lens.  with as fast as these birds flew i was having to manually focus--which was challenging, but what a great exercise!

I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to go down the the DR and photograph Taite and Jenn's wedding!  what a fantastic group!  i truly had an amazing time!

Balloons!

I got up early to go watch the balloons launch in Ridgway today for the "Vrooms and Balloons Festival. It was a little early yet to have the classic cars there but i did get the chance to see these beautiful balloons at sunrise!

MOAB!

Aaron, Agni and i went to Moab this weekend to visit my parents and we did a little jeep'n!  I was so impressed with what those jeeps can do!

What a beautiful time to go to the desert with all the flowers in bloom! 

latest wedding

Anna flew up to Washington, i traveled from Telluride and we photographed this amazing wedding at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course on April 18, 2009.  We also launched a new item for our wedding clients.....a photobooth!

Second Chance Humane Society

this week was my second week at 

second chance humane society and i am truly loving my time there.  i had an amazing assistant both times, my hubby Aaron--nice work!  Along with the amazing staff there at 2nd chance - thank you Cathy, Barbara, Kelly and Allison!

it feels very good to be able to use my god given talent to give back to my community!  I've also been invited to be the photographer for their number one fundraiser event of the year -
